Kayalam [1] is a suburb of the Peruavayal Panchayath within the Kozhikode district in the Indian state of Kerala. Bordering Kayalam is the Chaliyar River and the Perumanna, Mavoor and Mundumuzhi villages. The Kavanakallu Regulator Bridge is near Kayalam.
