Marzanabad District (Persian: بخش مرزنآباد) is in Chalus County, Mazandaran province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Marzanabad.[3]
After the 2006 census, Birun Bashm Rural District, Kuhestan Rural District, and the city of Marzanabad were separated from Kelardasht District to establish Marzanabad District.[3]
The National Census in 2011 counted 17,170 people in 5,049 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 20,318 inhabitants in 6,743 households.[2]
