Matthew Watson, commonly known as Mat Watson, is a British motor journalist. He is mainly known for presenting the U.K based company Carwow's official YouTube channel of the same name.

Career[edit]

In 2013, Watson hosted the ITV4 programme I Want That Car alongside Rebecca Jackson.[1][2][3]

YouTube[edit]

Watson started making car videos for the Carbuyer YouTube channel. He has since been replaced on the Carbuyer YouTube channel. Watson started his own YouTube channel under the name of Matt Watson Cars on April 25th, 2011.[4] In 2016, Watson left Carbuyer to start making videos for the UK online car marketplace site Carwow's YouTube channel.[5][6] He would later become Carwow's Chief Content Officer.

Private life[edit]

He is a Bachelor of Science of The University of Edinburgh (Chemistry Bachelor of Science). His wife name is Jo. They have a daughter called Grace.
