Kasirye Martin, commonly known as Mc Tino (born (1984-11-28) November 28, 1984 (age 39) in Jinja, Uganda to Baramaze John and Veronique Tebasurwa) is a Rwandan artist[1] and journalist, MC and Dejeey. He used to emcee different music festivals include Primus Guma Guma Super Star. He was the MC in all the big concerts that happened in Rwanda, among them are prepared by MTN Rwanda.

Early life and education[edit]

He[2]studied at the University of Rwanda in the Department of Business Administration (Marketing) in 2010.[3] He continued his studies in India, at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, where he obtained a diploma in Mass Communication.[4]

Music career[edit]

MC Tino released his first album, Umurima, in 2018.[5] There are popular songs like Umurima, Njyewe Nawe , MULA.[6][7][8][9][10][11]

Mc Tino was the lead singer of TBB;[12] music trio which consisted of three members: Tino, Bob and Benja.[13] They separated after Primus Guma Guma Superstar[14] season 6 and he started a solo career. He is current under Zoliberry Music founded by Samuel Tresor as his music label.[15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24]

Broadcasting[edit]

He is currently doing a talk show called DUNDA Show on KT Radio.[25] He hosted[26] Sonia Kayitesi, Jean Paul Bujyacyera,[27]DJ Ira, [14] Auddy Kelly, Confy,[28] Racine Kamatari, Kataleya and Kandle,[29]Marc Uwizeye[30] and Calvin Mbanda[31] on his radio show called Dunda on KT Radio.[26][15][32][29][33]

Emceeing[edit]

He used to emcee different music festivals include Primus Guma Guma Super Star.[34] He was the MC in all the big concerts that happened in Rwanda, among them are prepared by MTN Rwanda. [35] Mc Tino is considered as a Current Rwanda Mc Leader he started mceeing since 2007. [36][37][38][39][40]

He performed as mc when Jason Derulo went to Rwanda.[41]
