Enclose this message in a <div> with an id="mw-undo-failure" attribute, so that it may be referred to by automated processes and user style sheets -- Gurch (talk) 13:21, 8 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Done. I've used a span so the spacing looks the same. --- RockMFR 19:48, 8 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

{{sudo}} Might be helpful to add a note saying what this actually means.

<span id="mw-undo-failure">The edit could not be [[Help:Undo|undone]] due to conflicting intermediate edits; if you wish to undo the change, it must be done manually.</span>

Also, while I know it isn't stored on this page, I don't much like the styling for this message (big and bright red text). It should perhaps be replaced with just bold (if we want that as part of the style) and take the hardcoded bold formatting out of the message. Then if we really want we can put the first sentence in red but not the second, explanatory part. Most messages that appear above the edit box are in boxes, too, this one probably should be.  Done. I'm not sure about unbolding it, but we'll see if anyone else has a view ... — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 11:19, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
