Letzeburgesch[edit]

Hi,

Please change Letzeburgesch to Lëtzebuergesch.

Thanks in advance. --Les Meloures (talk) 16:50, 11 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Why? The preferred spelling, according to the ISO 639-2 custodian (here) for language tag ltz is 'Luxembourgish' with an alternate spelling 'Letzeburgesch'. For the same language tag, ISO 639-3 apparently prefers 'Letzeburgesch' over 'Luxembourgish' though the custodian's page title for ltz is 'Luxembourgish' (see here).
en.wiki apparently prefers 'Luxembourgish' because Letzeburgesch and Lëtzebuergesch redirect to Luxembourgish.
Regardless, were it decided to change the spelling, that change must not be made here because this module tracks the ISO 639-2 custodian.
Where are you seeing 'Letzeburgesch' and what led you here to achieve this change?
