Nehellenia is the stage name of Emanuele Aruta,[1] an Italian drag performer who competed on season 2 of Drag Race Italia.

Career[edit]

Aruta is a drag performer, make-up artist, and hairdresser[2] who competed as Nehellenia on season 2 of Drag Race Italia.[3] She won the makeover challenge and placed in the top of the Rusical (musical theatre) challenge. She impersonated Elenoire Ferruzzi for the Snatch Game challenge.[4] Nehellenia never placed in the bottom, and was named Miss Congeniality of the season. She was a runner-up, placing second/third overall.[5]

Personal life[edit]

Aruta is from Fiumicino.[2]

Nehellenia is the "drag sister" of Drag Race Italia runner-up Farida Kant.[6]
