Without God, all of man's efforts are in vain. Children are a gift from God and a source of man's happiness.
Psalms 127 is part of a set of road songs to the temple, the songs of ascent. It is the centermost one and by Solomon. Building the house also can mean building the house of God (the temple or the church) which the travelers were going to.
