An F-16 Fighting Falcon of the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) conducting a mission over Afghanistan in 2008 under the NATO ISAF flag. In October 2014 The Dutch Air Force joined the U.S. and its allies in fighting the Islamic State, deploying eight F-16's (of which 2 reserve) to Jordan.
