A Ferrocarril de Antofagasta a Bolivia "bucket train" crosses the Salar de Ascotán (salt lake Ascotán) past the 5,846-metre high (19,180 ft) stratovolcano Cerro del Azufre on the journey from Calama to Ollagüe (at the Bolivian border), Chile.
