Christophorus Henricus Diedericus Buys Ballot (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈbœys baːˈlɔt]; October 10, 1817 – February 3, 1890) was a Dutch chemist and meteorologist after whom Buys Ballot's law and the Buys Ballot table are named.
