Quim Junyent Casanova (born 25 March 2007 is a Spanish footballer who plays as a midfielder for Barcelona.

Early life[edit]

Junyent played chess as a child. He is a native of Balsareny, Spain.[1]

Club career[edit]

As a youth player, Junyent joined the youth academy of Spanish side Gimnàstic Manres. In 2016, he joined the youth academy of Spanish La Liga side Barcelona. He was regarded as one of the club's most important players.[1]

International career[edit]

Junyent represented Spain internationally at youth level. He played for the Spain national under-17 football team at the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup.

Style of play[edit]

Junyent mainly operates as a midfielder. He is known for his passing ability and ability to read a game.[2]

Personal life[edit]

Junyent is the son of a chess player father.[3]
