Early life and entry into politics[edit]

Shri Ramgopal Suthar born in the holy city of Shri Dungargarh, surrounded by dense sand dunes in the state of Rajasthan, India, to his devout mother, Narayani Devi, and revered father, Sant Shri Kishanaramji Suthar, in the Dhanerwa gotra of the Suthar (carpenter) caste. He is the second child among seven siblings. From childhood, he showed remarkable intelligence. He completed his high school education in 1976, at a time when education was not highly emphasized in our society.

Instead of opting for a government job, he chose to pursue business, inspired by his father's ideology. His father believed that while a job could sustain one's own family, business not only elevates one's life but also provides employment opportunities to others in need. His father often said, "Farming for sustenance, business for prosperity, and employment for compromise with dignity." However, it seems from his life's perspective that his ambition was not just to support his own family but to serve the entire Vishwakarma community and Mother India. Even when he achieved success in business, his heart was always dedicated to social service and spiritual activities.

Driven by his desire to serve society, he decided to enter politics. However, he had to face opposition from his father at times. But witnessing the plight of the marginalized, uneducated, and hopeless people of the Vishwakarma community, he sacrificed his personal advancement and comforts to dive into the political arena. He contested his first election in 1995 as a ward councilor and won by a significant margin, causing a seismic shift in the political landscape of Shri Dungargarh. Since then, he has never looked back.

In his long political career, he has served as a municipal ward councilor four times, district rural president of the BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) three times, district president of the BJP twice in Bikaner, and also served the position of Deputy Chairman of the Panchayat Samiti, Shri Dungargarh. Previously, due to his sincere and dedicated performance of duties in the BJP, he has been appointed as a member of the State Working Committee of the BJP, which is a matter of great pride for our minority and backward community.
