Redbull (political terminology)

Redbull (also known as red bull or red cow) is a political terminology used in Vietnamese politics to describe some sections of extreme patriots. This term is often used on social networks, especially on TikTok, when some Vietnamese people compare it to other countries in a negative and biased direction.

This term represents a consistent group of Vietnamese people with extreme patriotic ideology, chauvinism, and ideology similar to fascism. These people are identified as having communist ideals and are also nationalists, many people express the opinion that redbull people also have qualities such as racism, national conservatism, xenophobia and right-wing. What all have in common is a certain extreme.

Definition

Redbull in Vietnam is considered right-wing, causing loss of Vietnam's image and relations in the world. Redbull often focuses on attacking, elevating Vietnam above any other country, degrading and insulting other countries in the World.

This term is taken from the main name - Red Bull, an energy drink. According to some people, this word is applied because "delusional people are like buffaloes, or more precisely in Vietnam is called "premature" because the image of Red Bull contains two buffaloes.

Other meanings of redbull are "yellow cow", "yellowbull", "yellow bull" and "golden cow" or "golden bull" which is the extreme of redbull, often criticizing communism, often compared to the old regime Republic of Vietnam. Its name is taken from South Vietnam also due to the yellow background of its flag.
