Sardasht (Persian: سردشت is a city in, and the capital of, Rudasht District of Lordegan County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran. It also serves as the administrative center for Sardasht Rural District. The city is a merger of the former villages of Abza-ye Sardasht, Bar Aftab-e Sardasht, Mazeh-ye Sardasht, and Sakht-e Sardasht.^[3]

At the 2006 census, its population (as the combined populations of its predecessor villages), was 2,875 in 517 households, when it was in Sardasht Rural District of the Central District.^[4] The following census in 2011 counted 3,698 people in 746 households.^[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 5,691 people in 1,184 households,^[2] by which time four villages had merged to form the new city and the rural district had been separated from the district in the establishment of Rudasht District.^[3]
