Steve Ives

Steve Ives

Steve Ives is a serial entrepreneur in the information technology sector,[1] active in Cambridge, England.[2]

Biography[edit]

Ives founded Torus Systems in the 1980s and established Ives & Co. in 1989.[1] He worked as VP Business Development for Qualcomm Europe until mid-2005.[3][4] He founded Trigenix[1][4][5][6][7][8] and social media company Taptu.[1][3][4][5][6][7][8][9] He is also Chairman of Teamstudio[8][10] (previously a wholly owned subsidiary of Ives & Co.).[3][4][11]

Ives holds a master's degree in biochemistry from the University of Cambridge, and an MBA from Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a Fellow of London's Royal Society of Arts.[3][4][8] He has presented at industry events including 3gsm and the GSM Association General Plenary[3] and in 2011 addressed Connected Cambridge's "Entrepreneurs on the Move" networking event.[12][13][14]

Steve is now working on Hoverkey,[15] a mobile application security company based in London.
