Suzanne Elise Walsh (born 1968/1969) is an American academic administrator serving as the 19th president of Bennett College since 2019.

Life[edit]

Walsh was born in 1968 or 1969.[1] She earned an associate degree in applied science from Hudson Valley Community College.[2] She earned an undergraduate degree in social work from Cornell University.[1] She completed a M.S.W. and J.D. from Case Western Reserve University.[3]

Walsh worked at the Heinz Endowments.[1] She was the deputy director of postsecondary education at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation until 2018.[1] She stepped down to work as an independent consultant and founded Discerning SEWLutions, LLC.[1] Walsh became the 19th president of Bennett College on August 1, 2019, succeeding interim president Gwendolyn O’Neal.[1] In 2022, she joined the national advisory board of the Institute for Emerging Issues.[3]

In 2019, Walsh resided in Seattle.[1]
