Untitled[edit]

This article seems to contain a lot of speculation and promotional language. I put a 'cleanup' template on it. --151.152.101.44 (talk) 22:43, 2 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I've started fixing it a bit. I'll try to get back here next chance I get and maybe cut out the some of the claims that have no footnotes. --LBiller39 (talk) 23:05, 2 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

4040 yards[edit]

This rifle was admittedly used to beat a world record : http://www.opex360.com/2015/09/28/le-record-du-monde-de-tir-longue-distance-pour-officier-du-1er-regiment-de-chasseurs-dafrique/ & https://www.facebook.com/1erRCA/photos/a.717382185006832.1073741829.687049798040071/873985252679857/?type=3&theater. 78.247.149.147 (talk) 12:44, 30 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ballistics Check?[edit]

The numbers here (to a naive reader) appear slightly off base for energy. I am getting over 12,000J kinetic energy calculated at muzzle given the velocity and mass stated for the 305 projectile. How does the source used calculate it's stuff? And how does the KE rise for the heavier 419 grain bullet despite the 100m/s drop in speed? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 185.64.200.123 (talk) 05:50, 21 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
