east, west, beginnings, endings[edit]

The road begins near the Peace Arch Border Crossing, and continues eastward for 28.9 kilometres (18.0 mi), with gaps around the Pacific Highway and Lynden–Aldergrove Border Crossings. Boundary Road on the US side runs for 1.5 miles along 0 Avenue and again one mile to the west, with many cameras watching the border, before the U.S. road ends at the Lynden–Aldergrove Border Crossing. 0 Avenue continues west along the northern border of Peace Arch Historical State Park to Peace Arch Crossing. Small pedestrian bridges cross a trench on the border. At the eastern end of 0 Avenue, the road turns north.

This is awkwardly jumbled. It would be easier if everything were described in west-to-east order, and Boundary Road described in a separate paragraph after the full description of 0 Avenue, something like this:

At its west end, 0 Avenue begins at Peace Park Drive, which forms part of the boundary of Peace Arch Historical State Park. It continues eastward for 28.9 kilometres (18.0 mi), with gaps around the Pacific Highway and Lynden–Aldergrove Border Crossings. At its east end, 0 Avenue turns away from the border to become Townline Road, Abbotsford.
Parts of 0 Avenue are paralleled on the US side by Boundary Road: for a short stretch (a dead-end bend of Markworth Road) a mile to the west of the Lynden–Aldergrove Border Crossing, and again for seven miles beginning just east of that crossing.

I guess the pedestrian bridges are in Peace Arch Park? Otherwise one can easily walk across where the boundary obelisks interrupt the ditch, though I assume that is frowned on. (But on my first sightseeing visit to Boundary Road, I danced widdershins around an obelisk, and no one grabbed me.) —Tamfang (talk) 01:41, 19 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
