No References Tag[edit]

This article was tagged for {{no footnotes|date=December 2012}}. Content is the problem with this article, not inline citations. What little material is in the article is sourced. There's probably another appropriate tag for the article, though. I've also assessed Changing B1 to yes, but lowering from Start to stub because of B2.--Lineagegeek (talk) 22:36, 19 January 2013 (UTC)--Lineagegeek (talk) 22:36, 19 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Merger[edit]

The 10th Aerospace Group and squadron performed the same mission consecutively. In addition, USAF bestowed (temporarily) the group lineage and honors on the squadron when the squadron was reactivated. Both articles are skimpy, although I think the pioneer nature of the units in space defense make them notable. I don't think dividing them up helps at all. --Lineagegeek (talk) 19:39, 14 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Article Title[edit]

When I suggested the merger of the 10th Aerospace Defense Group and 10th Aerospace Defense Squadron, the articles were short and focused on the ASAT mission they shared. Since the merger, I have been able to expand the DMSP and Pacific air defense sections. Because the ASAT section no longer dominates, I believe the proper place for this page should either be 10th Air Defense Squadron (standard MOS:MILHIST#Units, formations, and bases - last name known by) or the exception to this 10th Aerospace Defense Squadron more commonly known, but not sure if 10 AEDS is "clearly' the most common name. --Lineagegeek (talk) 23:17, 29 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
