Vaslui[edit]

The film is not actually set in Vaslui. It may have been filmed there but characters in the movie deliberately omit to say the name of the city and simply refer to it as "our town". Everything indicates it's simply an anonymous, small, quiet town somewhere in Romania, meaning that it could be anywhere and that the story may have happened, with some differences, in several places. I haven't seen the reference to Vaslui anywhere else so if anyone has references, that would be interesting. MDobrescu (talk) 11:17, 9 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
