Repeal Association[edit]

Daniel O'Connell died on 15 May 1847 while this article covers a General Election which took place from 29 July–26 August 1847. I therefore propose to show the leader of the Repeal Association as Daniel's son John. Bryan P. McGovern in 'John Mitchel: Irish Nationalist, Southern Secessionist' page 63 refers to 'John O'Connell's assumption of leadership in Repeal' and states 'According to Charles Gavan Duffy, John O'Connell handled his power with dictatorial control'. Now done. Alekksandr (talk) 19:59, 17 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Peelites[edit]

Would it be possible to gather a seat count for the Peelites by searching through all the electorate pages and counting the number of Peelite MPs? YttriumShrew talk 2:06 AM 25 June UTC —Preceding undated comment added 02:06, 25 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
