Mauchline 7-0 Renton[edit]

Anyone got any source for this or why it was re-played (at Renton)? The only reference I can find is in a newspaper after the Renton win (North British Daily Mail, 21 Jan 1878, p. 7) and there is no reference to it being a replay (unlike the 3rd LRV v South-Western on the same page). The source for it is the now defunct Scottish Football Archive but that is the only source for it. Stewart Mathers' book is the definitive record of the competition in the 19th century so when it doesn't mention it, I would guess that it was a mistake on that website.
