I am curious to know where the info for this page was found. I followed the two links cited, but could not find any clear, province-by-province statistical data similar to the information provided here. — new user — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.71.147.54 (talk) 18:16, 23 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Tory Reporting Format[edit]

I dislike the standard for reporting Canadian election maps on Wiki which seems to be counting the Liberal-Conservatives and the Conservatives as seperate parties for graphical purposes. While it's all fine and dandy for tables, when making maps, it gives an overstatement of Liberal advantage. For example, candidate loyal to Borden took more votes than those loyal to Laurier in Ontario, but because a small number of those votes were for "Liberal-Conservatives" Laurier gets the province. This would seem to contradict the like standard in the United Kingdom maps for reporting National-Liberals, Scottish Unionists, and pre 1972 Ulster Unionists as part of the grand Conservative & Unionist total, rather than as seperate political parties --24.87.81.186 (talk) 21:22, 9 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
