This band was extremely influential in the pre-neamo years of DC hardcore. This was before their enigmatic lead singer fell into the 'rabbit hole' so to speak, and emerged with a folk influence. Other members of the band have concurred that her transformation was rather like Keith Richards' move toward a sleeker, more tonally functional sound in the 70's, when he incorporated the sounds of Captain Beefheart and Marianne Faithfull(to name only a couple). I would encourage any interested people to seek their pre-demo cassette tape, which was released in limited distribution in Gaithersburg in the late 90's.
