Merge proposal[edit]

Support the December proposal to merge this page with Ottoman declaration of Jihad; it does seem to be the same topic. However, the older and better-developed article seems to be Ottoman declaration of Jihad, so I suggest a merge to there. Klbrain (talk) 15:34, 17 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with this completely: as a significant amount of time has passed since you commented here, and nobody has opposed, I have merged this article into the other (although I renamed Ottoman declaration of Jihad to Declaration of jihad by the Ottoman Empire - this seems to be more descriptive, and there is no reason why "jihad" should be capitalised).
