RYM tsort.com removed 1930 - 1933[edit]

A. I am sourcing Whitburn's book (wonder where he got his numbers!)

B. Using Victor Sales Records from DAHR

C. Working on Columbia and Brunswick numbers, have some for 1920s

D. ARC - I need a source

All the record companies were going out of business due to Great Depression

I will prepare short text to introduce each year (during this period). It is incredible, top seller for 1933 sold 22,000 copies

If you have idea on formatting, etc., now is the time to use it, when the dust settles, all these pages will be consistent and conform to our rules.

By the way, I have recording, release and chart dates for every item in list, let's get rid of flag column, and insert useful information. I have the same for Year In Country Music 1920 - 1945. I need a better format, not in my skill set!

Later, I plan to follow-up by clicking all song links, and fix the ultra-stubby neglected pages. I have a lot of well-sourced discography info for starters. I just did six Ray Noble-Al Bowlly classics. We gotta represent respectfully when our customers click looking for more details.

I will soon share my recording studio information file, all record labels and locations from 1920s to 1960s, no sense hoarding it for myself. Need to organize it better first.

Hats off to 'Published Songs' sections for each year, I am already using it to shortcut building my tables. We need to cut down on duplication, and agree on a consistent format. I am here with my charts, is there anyway to share excel spreadsheets?

B. Using Victor Sales Records from DAHR <<< contacted DAHR, they are helping me. I will write up short piece on where info comes from and reliability Tillywilly17 (talk) 02:44, 31 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
