This article is rather rambling and POV. Clearly written by a republican who has been influenced by the modern republican spin on the 1975 dismissal.

The article should be split into sections, and made less POV.

Another point, the dismissal itself was not based on the governor prejudging a court decision. It was because the premier had acted not only illegally, but in a manner that was revolutionary. The Canadian example does not compare. Imagine if a premier today was to direct all government agencies to withdraw all of their funds in cash, and deposit it all with allies of the premier in the Trades Union Hall, or the Chamber of Commerce - contrary to probably hundreds of law, rules, and regulations.
