Arab Wikipedia[edit]

The Arabic Wikipedia version of this article does not point to other language Wikipedias. And no, you can't copy the Roman alphabet links to theirs. (I actually tried that! blush  :) Anyone (who knows Arabic) want to give it a try? Student7 (talk) 16:01, 10 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

1959 American flag[edit]

It's not that it's all that obvious from the small picture of the flag, but why are we using an American flag of the 1958 future before Alaska and Hawaii were admitted to the union? The flag should have 48 stars, not 50. The 50 star flag arrived a year later. Student7 (talk) 20:00, 8 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Whatever you say--it's not impossible that ProudIrishAspie made a couple of good edits, but the ANI discussion (it's still up) indicated plenty of problems with his edits in general. Thanks, Drmies (talk) 20:03, 12 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

PLO?[edit]

The PLO was established in the 1964. How was it involved in a war that happened 6 years before it was born? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palestine_Liberation_Organization — Preceding unsigned comment added by Amersaabi1 (talkcontribs) 03:17, 14 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox "Result"[edit]

Please note that Template:Infobox military conflict#Parameters states against "result" that "this parameter may use one of two standard terms: "X victory" or "Inconclusive"." The infobox has been amended to reflect this. Please read the template "result" guidence in full before amending or reverting. It would probably be best to discuss any proposed change here first to seek consensus. Thanks. Gog the Mild (talk) 15:43, 9 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
