NAIA / NCAA member?[edit]

Cbl62, I see the December 1 article you cited about Montclair State being left out of the NAIA playoffs. Appears Montclair State was an NCAA member at at the time; see https://stats.ncaa.org/team/442/stats/13014. Were they also an NAIA member? It appears that some schools were members of both in the 1960s. I've seen reference to turf war between the two where NCAA would punish schools for participating in the NAIA bowls/playoffs. Cbl62 (talk) 00:44, 26 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
