Todo[edit]

Fix sections. Jdorje 01:57, 20 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hurricane Beulah[edit]

I've expanded the section on Hurricane Beulah using some information from the article itself. It still might need some work though. -Tcwd | Talk 15:20, 4 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Good job. That looks fine. Hurricanehink (talk) 15:28, 4 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ginger or Christine?[edit]

This article claims that Ginger was the easternmost forming tropical cyclone, whereas 1973 Atlantic hurricane season says the same thing about Christine. Which is correct? Jamie|C 12:33, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The more recent storm article/reference, of course. Thegreatdr (talk) 03:29, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Hurricanehink. I will be review this article today. I'm glad you did this season. Overall, it looks decent, but I do have a few issues that I'll need you to fix or address before I can decide to pass it.--12george1 (talk) 17:39, 2 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • "Heidi – lost tropical characteristics on November 1." - The infobox says October 31
  • The death toll in the infobox is incorrect. Based on the info in the lede, there were at least 79 deaths
  • "The storm soon after transitioned into an extratropical cyclone," - I think that would read better like this "Soon after, the storm transitioned into an extratropical cyclone,"
  • Are the Beulah and Chloe sections in the correct order? If so, I think you may want to mention why. I know the answer to that, but others may not.
  • They are, and I state when each storm formed. Chloe formed before Beulah by 12 hours. How do you recommend making it more obvious to the readers? ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 18:03, 3 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Scratch that. I feel like it may be more complicated than just saying one was named before the other due to the TD designation situation.--12george1 (talk) 19:05, 3 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • "it to Tropical Storm Ginger, in conjunction with data from Cabo Verde." - Were there land observations of tropical storm force winds? You should mention that if that's the case
  • Nah, NHC just said "observations", nothing about wind speeds. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 18:03, 3 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • "the name Beulah was retired and replaced with Beth in 1971." - Beth should not be in bold
  • Reference 2 is a deadlink
  • Why is Robert Simpson referred to as R. H. Simpson in reference 4, but Bob Simpson in reference 17? I don't care about which of the three ways you refer to him, just that both are the same.
  • Forgot they were both the same when I wrote their names in :P ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 18:03, 3 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

That should be it. You know the drill: fix or address these in a timely manner and I will pass this article.--12george1 (talk) 17:39, 2 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hope these changes work! ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 18:03, 3 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I'm satisfied with the chances. So I will now pass this article and list it as a GA.--12george1 (talk) 19:05, 3 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
