Ingemar Stenmark and Heini Hemmi[edit]

Dear Wikipedians, you may do as you like to do - it is not important; users from the U.K. (or users with English tongue) don't know about details of Alpine Skiing World Cup reglements. I would like to say Alpine Skiing World Cup is strange in the U.K. - there is a very small number of people (incl. media) who have knowledge about it. Therefore you mustn't change your mind about Giant Slalom World Cup result. Hemmi did win it (FIS-websites are wrong) because he had the higher number of point deduction. Please don't correct your reverting...if you don't believe...Nice regards: Skiscout (talk) 20:46, 30 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I think I was the one who showed it as a tie when I added the summary table, but you're correct that the tiebreak rules then in effect (which unfortunately changed every year until the 1990s) gave the title to Hemmi, although FIS doesn't show it that way. My apologies. Now if only someone would create an English-language page for Christian Hemmi. . . . AyaK (talk) 06:02, 28 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
