Aftermath[edit]

Regarding this edit: I have started a discussion at the baseball WikiProject discussion page on aftermath sections. Feedback is welcome. isaacl (talk) 05:08, 16 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

As per the discussion at the WikiProject Baseball talk page, events that occurred over thirty years later are not aftermath consequences of the 1981 series. I know other articles may include events that are not truly aftermath consequences; copy editing of articles takes place one at time. isaacl (talk) 04:39, 10 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This content? This has nothing to do with the 1981 NLCS. – Muboshgu (talk) 16:23, 16 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I think excluding the current last paragraph about subsequent Dodgers-Nationals postseason matchups makes sense unless a source is found that discusses them in the context of this series. However, the middle paragraph should stay, even though it would probably be better if it was sourced to the book itself. Hatman31 (talk) 16:59, 17 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Multiple editors at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Baseball/Archive 48 § Aftermath sections, Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Baseball/Archive 48#Aftermath sections (continued), and this section have agreed with removing the passage in question. I feel that a consensus has been reached not to include a discussion of the events from over thirty years later. Improvements are made one article at a time, and they're made by consensus agreement, as is the case here. isaacl (talk) 21:00, 19 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
