Pollard[edit]

Before doing any edits, I want to point out that that the article uses a WRMEA article to vaguely allege that "some" experts say that pollard passed on info that got to soviets. WRMEA is a very anti-Israel source.

More importantly:

It was alleged earlier that Pollard did pass on soviet related intel.

However:

1. He was never convicted of this. And "some people say" is just hearsay.

2. It was later proven that Pollard could not have done this. He did not have a sufficient security clearance. He had no access to soviet related intel.

3. The actual perpetrators were later caught, tried, and convicted of those particular crimes. Aldrich Ames and Hansen were the spies that were passing on soviet intel. And at one point, one of them was put in charge of the investigation that led to Pollard. He tried to pin his spying off on Pollard. But, when the leaks continued after Pollard was in jail, the investigation was reopened and the actual perpetrators caught and convicted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.248.26.11 (talk) 16:42, 14 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
