This could be a disaster if attempted to implement, but it would be nice if rule changes were listed not only as they started, but also how long they lasted Autkm 05:44, 14 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, we could add cross references to the other "Major rule changes" sections on the NFL season articles. For example, currently on 1986 NFL season#Major rule changes on the entry about the then-new instant replay system, it is mentioned that it was repealed in 1992. Replacement players[edit]

For the people who want to know about it (like myself, since I was 1 at the time), it should go into at least some detail about the replacement players. This seems like a major deal, and yet there is only a brief mention of it. TJ Spyke 04:58, 6 February 2007 (UTC) In the article, the name Todd Schlopy is mentioned. Although the article is correct in saying that he wasn't a player in the NFL before or after the strike, it fails to mention that he was the kicker at the University of Michigan for three years. The article indirectly makes the assumption that Schlopy had little or no football experience. Rule Changes[edit]

Season Breakdown[edit]

I think it would be a good idea to have an extra schedule showing each team's record with replacement players (3 games) and with regular players (12 games), and then the over-all record.Juve2000 (talk) 01:05, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
