Mississippi Series?[edit]

I agree. Besides never having heard it, it makes no sense. Why would you name a series this a mere two years after Kansas City played St. Louis? ogenstein (talk) 12:10, 9 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:World Series Logo 1987.png[edit]

Image:World Series Logo 1987.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Seems biased?[edit]

"The 1987 World Series should go down in history as the least suspenseful World Series of all time. There were no extra-inning games. No runs were scored in the 9th inning of any game. No runs scored in the 8th inning of any game caused a lead change; therefore this series might as well have been played in 7-inning games."

Something about this just doesn't sound right. If it were a quote, I could let it go. Just seems like an opinion stated as fact. Superbiff (talk) 19:30, 18 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

2006 Cardinals needs fixing[edit]
