Internal pages: Something like: [2][3]). Such pages are not fluff, but can be good places to find recruits for the project, possibly including subject-matter experts, especially if cross-referenced to the project. Also, Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Cue sports (cf. [4][5][6]).
Create timelines, both textual and graphical. See link for various guidelines and examples. We need an overall one for cue sports generally, and more specific ones as we drill down into more specific topics (timeline of nine-ball, timeline of Willie Mosconi's career, etc.).
Form sections: Exhibition game needs section on cue sports; could later form a new article with "Main article..." xref to it. What other general articles need cue sports sections?
Images: improve articles with images from commons; create pics and add them to commons as GFDL/CC-by/PD.
Add: {{Sport overview}} to main articles of cue games that are real sports; medal table tags where they apply (see Ding Junhui for example).
Insert: Cue sports events (tournament results, etc.) into the "year in sports" categories (e.g. 1965 in sports), using {{subst:Cue sports heading}} if that year doesn't have one yet.

There's a picture of Wattana with the trophy on page 55 of the 8th edition of the Benson & Hedges Snooker Yearbook. The plaque on it is fully visible and says "555 World Series Challenge Winner". (No mention of "Hong Kong".) The book calls it the "555 World Series Challenge". Snooker Scene's report is headed with a "555 World Series Challenge" logo and the text "Snooker De Luxe from Wattana at the Hong Kong Hilton." The Times refers to it as the "555 world series challenge" (22 August 1990) and as the "World Series Challenge" (27 August 1990). The 1991-92 Rothmans Snooker Yearbook refers to it as the "555 World Series Challenge." I think it should be referred to as the "1990 World Series Challenge" in the article rather than the '1990 "World Series" Hong Kong Challenge' as it is at the moment in the lead. 1990 Hong Kong Challenge → 1990 World Series Challenge – According to the page history, this article was moved to the current title on the basis of an edit to the lead by an IP editor. Based on how reliable English-language sources refer to the article's subject, I think the name should be changed back. Some sources referring to the tournament as "World Series Challenge" are listed at the article talk page, and there is also discussion at the WP:SNOOKER talk page.
