@Luokehao: It is not helpful to change "As of 2017" to "As of {{CURRENTYEAR}}". This is a nearly surefire way to end up with an untrue statement in Wikipedia, as the number will increment every January 1, whether or not anyone has checked to see if the statement is still true. @Chris the speller: I do not see the problem with making the figures accurate since it can simply and easily be altered by deletion if one of the counties votes Democratic (I will stress that under present conditions this is highly improbable) in a future presidential election. @Luokehao: Probability and ease of deletion are not the problem or the solution here. The problem is that someday you will no longer be editing, and editors seeing this in the future will not know that the facts need to be checked, because the year will perpetually increment, making it look like somebody checked and approved by changing the year. I have changed most of these to use {{As of}}, which allows editors to catalogue statements that may become dated over time. Please read the "Usage" section of that template.
