What is the format of the racing times? are they dd:hh:mm or hh:mm:ss? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.138.228.5 (talk) 04:25, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

hey i have created a .jpg file of route. Where to get the permission, if any to upload the file. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Kenden (talkcontribs) 12:04, 7 January 2007.

If you created the image yourself you don't need any permission, just click on Upload file and upload it. Remember to select a licence from the drop-down box that states you created it. Gasheadsteve 12:16, 7 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

But i have taken help from the original pdf file from the official site.

In that case, I'm not sure. The rules about what you can upload are at Wikipedia:Image use policy, you could try looking there. Alternatively, you could use maps from Wikimedia Commons Atlas which have free licences, and draw the race route on to those. Gasheadsteve 20:37, 7 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! thank u very much.

I read more recent reports that Eric Aubijoux was actually hit by a truck. Any objections to making that change? I would also prefer that the information on the deaths not be in the summary section- it is not the most important information about the race.Benthatsme 15:03, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As long as there is a reference to back it up, there's no problem with updating the cause of death. It should go onto the Eric Aubijoux article as well. As far as the summary is concerned, I agree that it needs to be re-written to include more information such as race winners, etc, but I think that the deaths were significant and should remain. Thank you to whomever rearranged the page, it reads much better now. I just editted the cause of death for Eric Aubijoux, and included two references. I can't find where I read that a construction truck was suspected, so I did not include that detail.
Any thoughts as to the use of the word "marred" in the Incidents section? Perhaps unfortunate instead? Benthatsme 19:54, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
OK, it appears the references to a construction truck were in the magazine (newspaper?) Sud-Ouest. I don't have enough French to get the original references. I'll put these two articles here in the hopes someone with better French than me can improve this article. Benthatsme 20:09, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
