Ron Wilson to become new head coach[edit]

The Leafs are expected to make the announcement tommorow.--Bending Unit (talk) 14:08, 10 June 2008 (UTC)BENDING UNIT[reply]

Fletcher[edit]

I think we can drop the interim, since Peddie said he'll be staying as GM till his contract is up, so that's no longer interim and he's not listed as interim on http://mapleleafs.nhl.com/team/app/?service=page&page=NHLPage&id=12778 --Fire 55 (talk) 01:59, 4 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Detailed Schedule[edit]

I suggest putting an "AT" or "@" in front of the opponent for away games to distinguish them from home games. Otherwise, we always have to read the stadium name. 99.248.53.179 (talk) 16:48, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rotating alternate captaincies[edit]

The Leafs have chosen Antropov, Kaberle, Kubina, Mayers & Moore as the alternate captains. The A's will be rotated on a monthly basis among these players (till further notice). By omitting Antropov & Moore? we give the impression that Kaberle, Kubina & Mayers are permanent alternates (i.e. entire season). GoodDay (talk) 14:37, 10 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Playoffs[edit]

At the top of the article it says "The Leafs will look to qualify for the postseason for the first time since the 2003–04 season." but in the middle of the article it says "The Leafs have not made the playoffs since the lockout and are looking to avoid making the playoffs in 2008-2009 in order to get a high draft pick and rebuild." Neither statement has a reference and they can't both be true, or are both speculation? CoW mAnX (talk) 02:17, 30 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Both are speculation and have been removed/reworded.-Wafulz (talk) 19:19, 30 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

'ACE' patch[edit]

I noticed the team plays with an 'ACE' patch on the front top right side of their jerseys. What / who is this patch for? Perhaps it is worth mentioning in this article? AEJ (talk) 01:43, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
