I amended the tables such that a line will show the cutoff with respect to who will be promoted, who will qualify for RWC qualifying, and who will be relegated. When a team has assured itself of moving up or down, or qualifying, then I suggest that their line be filled in with a particular color...but not before. From the end of the 2008-09 season, I also suggest that the team advancing to RWC qualifying tournament be colored yellow or blue for the remainder of the 2008-10 season.

As an aside, I dislike that teams can receive points in defeat. In what sane universe would Serbia be in 2nd place after one game? Alanmjohnson (talk) 00:30, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why cant you edit the tables in this?86.42.177.13 (talk) 11:24, 13 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I set up the table in a template because the same table is also displayed in the 2011 RWC Euro Qualifying page. That said, qualifying only lasts for half of this competition, so after all of the matches are played in May, I would suggest that the table be copied into both places, as it will not be undergoing continued updates on the qualifying page. Using the template is both more convenient and much less prone to error. Alanmjohnson (talk) 14:51, 13 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
