Type of majority to pass[edit]

Does this Bond Act require a simple plurality to pass, or a super majority? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rob92110 (talkcontribs) 21:56, 5 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A simple majority (50% of the votes + 1) is all that is needed for a ballot proposition in California to either be approved or rejected. – Zntrip 23:19, 5 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Source[edit]

Source #3, which originally linked to the voter results from the election is broken. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.150.247.229 (talk) 04:09, 6 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I fixed it. This is the new link. – Zntrip 04:42, 6 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

More needs to be raised to complete the railroad[edit]

But a $10 billion fund is a good start. 204.52.215.107 (talk) 19:33, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The funding issue is discussed at California High-Speed Rail. – Zntrip 23:40, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
