Dates[edit]

What are the dates for the actual games, and where are they held? That seems like pretty basic information that is not in this article. It is what I came here looking for, anyway. Jonathan O'Donnell (talk) 04:35, 31 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The dates and venues of the finals games are not determined until after the final round of the home-and-away season. We know the date of the first weekend in advance, and we know - from past experience - that games will be held on that first weekend on Fri night, Sat afternoon, Sat night and Sun afternoon. But as to who plays whom and where, that had to wait until this week. --Perry Middlemiss (talk) 00:16, 31 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Qualification[edit]

The statement that has been removed: "The eight teams will qualify for the finals series by finishing in the top eight positions of the premiership ladder at the completion of the home and away series." may, at first blush seem redundant. But actually it is the only statement in the article defining how the teams qualify for the finals series, and as such really needs to be there. It may require an edit but complete removal loses valuable information. --Perry Middlemiss (talk) 00:20, 31 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I agree. How about this : "The top eight teams on the home and away rounds ladder qualify for the Finals Series." ROxBo (talk) 15:01, 31 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
