Tracy Mcgrady 2010 NBA All-Star Game Voting Results[edit]

The point is whether or not you agree with the movement, it is well documented with primary sources, and it is noteworthy. I have listed the sources below, please list your comments in the discussion page before you make further edits.

Box score[edit]

I know this is regarding the future, but if there is to be a box score posted for this game on the article page, I would like to keep the same standard format that I have started with the earlier All-Star Games. For examples, the format can be found on the 1953 NBA All-Star Game, or the 1957 NBA All-Star Game. I plan to standardize all of the All-Star Game history this way. Flag[edit]

I think Kaman's flag should be German, because if you read WP:MOSFLAG, it says that the flag should represent the player's sporting nationality, similar to Becky Hammon's Russian flag. As for Duncan, I also think that U.S. should be used over the U.S. Virgin Islands flag. Any thought on this? — Martin tamb (talk) 00:19, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Couldn't agree more on the ip users, my only suggestion is let the US flag there, and after the All-Star Game has passed, number of edits would be down and less ip users editing the article, then we could fix the article. Do we really need the flags at all? I think it's an oversimplification to label Kaman as German, since he only got onto their national team because of a technicality. Well, flags are useful here to show the diversity of the NBA, which in recent years have drawn more and more international players and audience. One question, Chris. Then, why we don't put the US flag next to Duncan? I mean, in NBA page he is considered an international player, but Kaman isn't. I don't mind to use the MOS criteria, but i think that we should use it to all the cases. 80.38.79.176 18:13, 13 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Based on the wiki policy - Flags don't belong at all. Players don't represent their home countries or international teams when playing for the league. The probably don't belong in any NBA article... and they're everywhere..... Blahblah32blahblah (talk) 20:32, 13 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
