Qualification Section[edit]

Teams[edit]

I'm seeing conflicting sources about who is the Russian skip. In Draw 1 and 2, Privivkova threw 3rd and Sidorova threw 4th. During the TSN broadcasts, they mentioned Sidorova as the skip. The Russians have been known to alter their line-up multiple times throughout a competition. Ludmilla Privivkova was listed as the skip for the Olympics, but Anna Sidorova skipped many times. My suggestion is to leave Privivkova as the skip in the chart listing all of the athletes because that is how the Russians submitted their line-up, but when Sidorova (or someone else) skips the team during a Draw then their name is listed next to the flag and Russian flag in the line score. - SargentIV —Preceding unsigned comment added by SargentIV (talk • contribs) 18:33, 21 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Now that it appears that Privivkova has been benched, I'd like to made a note in "Teams" section about Sidorova taking over as skip and replacing Privivkova with Sidorova in the "Standings" section. -- MrBeijingles (talk • contribs) 01:03, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Did Margarita Fomina play in more matches than Ludmilla Privivkova? (Coverage in the United States was highly limited so I don't have much information about line-up changes.) If Privivkova was out for two or three matches, I'm not sure that should be mentioned. But if she was out for more then I'd say a bullet point could be added below the chart at the top of the page mentioning the line-up change. I think the chart itself should be kept as it is though so it reflects how the teams were officially submitted to the WCF. Another thing to consider is added a bullet point at the bottom of each draw with information regarding any alternates who play in a match. This could be a uniform way of listing this information on all Curling pages (with the possible downside that it might create a cluttered look to the pages). - --SargentIV (talk) 18:32, 26 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

To the best of my knowledge, Privivkova played third for the first two games. I don't remember if she played another game after that, but I do know that Fomina played more games than Privivkova. Sidorova replaced Privivkova before the start of the 1st Draw which is why I would like to acknowledge the change in the lineup section to give recognition to Sidorova and clear up any confusion regarding who exactly is the skip. -- MrBeijingles (talk • contribs) 16:11, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
