Open primaries[edit]

why not say open primary are controversialed by the government? According to Jean-Francois Cope, and ministers of the government, the Socialist primary paves the way for a “gigantic FILING politics.” http://economicsnewspaper.com/policy/french/the-primary-socialist-target-of-the-ump-35397.html

Support sections of the Wikitable[edit]

Very many of the names in the 'Support' sections of the Wikitable are uncited. For example the fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld is named as a supporter of Martine Aubry without any citation provided. However neither his English nor French BLP mention him as a supporter. I did find this Karl Lagerfeld: "J'adore Martine Aubry" on an internet search, but I read that as more in the nature of good-humoured personal approval than sober political judgement.

I was undecided what to do when I submitted the Wikitable and on reflection I've kept the French article's names as they were. But by all means strike them as needed if you think that isn't a good idea. I commented out a few citations because when I checked them I couldn't find any support mentioned.

I shall keep an eye out for a while at least for new names and changes. Help welcome. It's rather tedious because the French article mostly uses bare URLs, which I don't care for and feel obliged to change into news or web citations. FightingMac (talk) 04:38, 2 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
