Team Trickle Down[edit]

Should we be putting in any info about how NIU Getting into BCS pushed OU to Cotton etc.. and how LA Tech Declined an invite to the Independence Bowl because they thought they would be getting ISU's invite here? EnsRedShirt (talk) 01:34, 4 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'll review this article sometime tonight or tomorrow. Wizardman 04:03, 21 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Here are the issues I found:

  • The Washington Post ref isn't working (http://articles.washingtonpost.com/2012-12-30/sports/36071476_1_trey-watts-alex-singleton-golden-hurricane). It's probably just archived so finding the url shouldn't be too tough, and if nothing else archive.org will have it.
  • Days of the week aren't needed in the teams section.
  • The 1972 Liberty Bowl could be linked in the Iowa State section, though I see it's currently a redlink.
  • "This will be the Golden Hurricane's second" This was the
  • "when Tulsa faced was set have a rematch with a team" huh? rm faced, add to after set.
  • Make sure the dashes (10-0) are ndashes.
  • How did ticket sales do?

I'd ask for an aftermath section, but since the draft hasn't taken place and the Iowa State linebackers are the only draft projections, it's probably not worth it to create currently. Article's on hold, will pass when fixed. Wizardman 17:32, 22 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • All done except for the dashes...I did one section, but had a question, do all dashes need to be ndashes, or just ones in a record (e.g., is 9-play, 67-yard acceptable, or should it be 9–play, 67–yard)? Go Phightins! 19:21, 22 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

For me the play/yard ones as is are fine, though others might disagree on that. As long as records and the like are fixed it's fine. Wizardman 00:11, 23 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • All right; I believe all of those are  Done. Go Phightins! 00:52, 23 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Looks good, article now passes. Wizardman 14:45, 23 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
