• I'm not convinced it is necessary to list the entire grid during the prose of this section (in each of the the qualifying, the qualifying race and the main race sections.)
• "..Mandarin; alas, the pole-sitter regained his lead.." Alas definitely doesn't seem the right word to use here, it seems to apply an editorial voice, rather than an WP:NPOV.
