League tables[edit]

The {{Fb cl2 team}} template and other associated templates are deprecated, and use of Module:Sports table/WDL is preferred. I have taken the liberty of creating a table using the module, but I wanted to let the regular editors here know about it so they can ask questions and get a feel for it. I've always preferred to use the table that is currently in use for any article I've edited. In all honesty, I've never liked this new style. I find it takes longer to update and check and if you make a mistake and look in the preview you can lose yourself. Druryfire (talk) 20:27, 24 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps, but consensus at WT:FOOTY is that these old templates are deprecated. In addition, what do the green colors in the table mean? As it currently appears, the table violates MOS:COLOR. — Jkudlick tcs 20:56, 24 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with you that it needs to be changed, and the green colours, yes, no one knows as nothing is put in the area for comment. I assume they are for the Gulf club championship slots, but this is never known until the end of the campaign. @Alhosniomani20: - we really need yourself to comment otherwise i can foresee an edit war not too far ahead of us. Druryfire and Jkudlick The 3rd and 4th place holders qualify for the Group Stage of the GCC Champions League or now known as the GCC Club Cup. It is a regional tournament held for clubs in the GCC. Alhosniomani20 (talk) 09:12, 29 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
