Grimes ability to run for Governor in 2015[edit]

Kentucky Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes is running for the Democratic nomination in the 2014 U.S. Senate election. If she wins, she will be elected to a full, 6 year term. If she loses, she loses, and the door remains open for many other future endeavors. In the two sources provided on the main article page for Grimes, both do not mention Grimes declining a run for Governor if she loses the Senate election. Logistically, if she loses the Senate election, she can still mull a run for Governor. I would appreciate feedback on this. - DONALDderosa (talk) 14:56, 18 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Technically, she could win the Senate election in 2014 and run for Governor in 2015. I wouldn't expect that to happen, but you never know. She can't be said to have "declined" this election until she declines it. – Muboshgu (talk) 15:06, 18 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ugly Table[edit]

To say very bluntly, the infobox is very unsettled. Would anyone like to do something about standardizing it like in this article Kentucky gubernatorial election, 2003? H Singh Sarao attempt communication 14:01, 4 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Turnout[edit]

I edited out an exceeding sloppy reference to this being the lowest turnout in state history, at 974,000 this is substantially more than the 833,000 4 years prior in 2011 and dramatically more than the 580,000 in 1999. Population growth has not been overwhelming unfortunately in Kentucky over these 17 years making this even more easily refuted.

Whether this was done for political purposes (To take away from the election of the conservative Bevin) or just out of ignorance, that really was sloppy.
